The heritage

Seventy years old, and still a home

Teak Town is a 70-year-old ancestral home, built in traditional Kerala architecture. It has been given today's comforts without losing its old shape — tiled roofs, a timber upper storey, and a verandah of turned wooden columns.

Inside, the house is furnished with handpicked wooden furniture, each piece with a history of its own, and some rooms keep old pieces and curios. The heritage here isn't kept behind glass. You sleep in it, sit on it and wake up to it.

Heritage you can touch

The details that make it home

Kerala Architecture

Tiled roofs, a timber upper storey, turned wooden columns and courtyards, built the traditional way.

Handpicked Furniture

Heavy wooden beds and wardrobes, an antique cradle, a swing on chains — each piece chosen for its story.

Brass & Curios

A brass oil lamp, a brass-bound vessel, old switchboards and framed paintings — small things with long histories.

Timber & Tile

Timber ceilings and beams, a wooden staircase, and terracotta floors underfoot.

Naturally connected

Where the house ends, the garden begins

The house sits in the middle of six acres of lush garden and fruit orchards. Doors open onto balconies and verandahs, the lawns come right up to the walls, and whatever the season, there's fruit to pick from the trees.
